Support Ukraine

On February 24, 2022, the life of all residents of Ukraine, regardless of their nationality, was divided into before and after. Once at the epicenter of the war, MagShop reacted to this in its own way. Some of the old projects had to be stopped, and thoughts about new ones were postponed until better times. Instead, a campaign was launched to raise funds to help the Ukrainian ultras, who voluntarily stood up for their country, replacing the scarf of their favorite team with a machine gun.

Over the past year, fanzine authors from Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, Ireland, Sweden and other, as well as dozens of ordinary football fans from Europe and Canada managed to take part in it, thanks to which we can to raise about 7.500 euros. A little more was gained through the distribution of Ukrainian fanzines in exchange for donations.

MagShop distributed these funds among 25 ultras movements, thus covering most of the entire scene of the country: from Chernihiv and Sumy in the north to Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson in the south, from Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Lutsk and Rivne in the west to Luhansk, Donetsk and Kramatorsk in eastern Ukraine. They went to eliminate the daily needs of the guys on the frontline: the purchase of warm clothes, medicines, protective ammunition of the best quality, night vision devices, drones and even cars used to deliver humanitarian aid to the local population still living in the war zone, evacuation wounded soldiers, and so on. And we donated the money from the sale of pins issued in honor of the 16th anniversary of MagShop to the Stands of Heroes foundation, which helps the families of ultras and hooligans who died in the war.
