Fanzines
Странник №1
The first issue of STRANNIK sums up the fan results of the 1st (spring 1992) and the first round of the 2nd (autumn 1992) Ukrainian football championships, talking about what kind of activity they maintained after the collapse of the Soviet Union, on which trips and in what in number there were, in the language of the time, "crazies" Dynamo (Kyiv), Chornomorets (Odesa), Shakhtar (Donetsk), Karpaty (Lviv), Tavriya (Simferopol), Metalurh and Torpedo (both teams from Zaporizhzhya), Metalist (Kharkiv), Zorya-MALS (Luhansk), Dnipro (Dnipropetrovsk), whose colors then were not blue-white-light blue, as now, but yellow-red, as well as Veres (Rivne) and Evis (Mykolayiv), which also had fans, albeit special ones. It also says what started the conflict between the fans of Dnipro and Shakhtar, as well as how and with whom the other brigades fought. Photos of shaggy teenagers with flags, in long knitted scarves, cockerel hats - a separate song, filled with the atmosphere of that time. From other materials, we highlight the articles "Torpedo fanaticism" - the history of the origin of the group, the first trips, troubles with gopniks and fans of other teams, police repressions; "When did fanaticism appear in Zaporizhzhya?" - an investigation, the reason for which was a newspaper publication in 1986; and a note about the activities of Zaporizhzhya fans during Metalurh’s performance in the Top league of the last USSR championship.
