19th anniversary

A lot of water has gone under the bridge since our project was launched on 20 November 2006. Over the past 19 years, much has changed, both within us and around us, but the main thing has remained the same: our love for team sports, especially football, ultras culture and literature, as well as our passion for reading and collecting it. Today, on MagShop's birthday, we want to share its latest achievements - because you have played a part in them.

Let's start with the online store, which, since the launch of the new website in February 2023, is already close to its first thousand orders. With its help, we continue to promote the ideas of ultras and hooligan subcultures, supporting individual authors and entire groups from different countries in the publication and distribution of their fanzines and books around the world. Today, we cover almost all of Europe and have even reached such distant points on the map as Japan, Mexico, USA and Australia.

Our Facebook account's audience has grown to four thousand followers, and our English-language Instagram account is about to pass the three thousand mark. Many posts there have garnered tens of thousands of views, and one - we won't say which one - went viral to such an extent that it collected more than 800.000 views. Thanks to co-authorship and your reposts, the total number of views of the MagShop page on Instagram peaked at over 1.6 million per month. Of course, these are just numbers, but it's still nice. We are convinced that our reviews, unpackings, backstage features and daily news, which provide a good overview of new ultras literature releases, not only popularise it, but also inspire a desire to learn new things, read, collect, and, perhaps most importantly, create something yourself. We would like to believe that through our activities aimed at maintaining interest in paper selfprint, MagShop is helping to develop not only this industry, but also contributing to the advancement of the entire subculture.

And finally, thanks to the endless stream of letters and parcels from you, dear colleagues, our library is growing like wildfire. Thank you, friends, for the gift copies of your publications, for your interest in our project, and for your trust, which we are doing our best to justify by continuing to study ultras literature with the same passion as 19 years ago. Happy birthday to MagShop - to all of us!
