This issue of the fanzine STRANNIK is based on reports on trips made by fans of Metalurh (Zaporizhzhya) in the second round of the season 1996/97 and the first half of the season 1997/98; a report from the city derby, which culminated in a fight between the BRIGADA URAGAN and the football players of Torpedo (Zaporizhzhya), which almost ended in the initiation of a criminal case for the hooligans; section "Our city news", telling about the increase in the cost of football tickets, the release of new double-sided scarves of the group, which became the second in its history, a visit to the all-Ukrainian beer festival held in Zaporizhzhya, a trip to a concert at a local rock club, publications in the press and two fan weddings. They are supplemented by a note about the national team, whose home matches were almost always sold out, and away support was provided mainly by Ukrainians living in Europe; summing up the results of the 5th international mini-football fan tournament; an article about the inner workings of STRANNIK, filled with interesting details of who, where and how the magazine was created, which is combined with a review of the Ukrainian fan press, where for the first time the fanzine WHAT SHOULD A FAN KNOW?, released by a guy from Zaporizhzhya in the early 80s (!) years; as well as a review of the Ukrainian fan scene, which affected almost all active fan movements of that time: Dynamo (Kyiv), Shakhtar (Donetsk), Dnipro (Dnipropetrovsk), Vorskla (Poltava), Kryvbas (Kryvyi Rih), Karpaty (Lviv), Zirka (Kirovohrad), Zorya (Luhansk), fans of Prykarpattya (Ivano-Frankivsk) and Polissya (Zhytomyr) who taking their first steps. It covers in most detail the successes of the ARMY OF THE FIRST CAPITAL - Metalist (Kharkiv), and the combative away trip of the hooligans Chornomorets (Odesa) to Kyiv, dated March 1997.
